All over the world, Vyshivankas are famous for their unique cut, inspired by hundreds of years of history, that wonderfully flatter all body shapes.
With the My Sleeping Gypsy range, we retain the Vyshyvanka heritage but add a contemporary touch. This combination of history and modernity makes this choice stylish and eternally fashionable.
Looking stylish & feeling comfortable.
Zoe mask is crafted from powder pink linen, featuring floral satin stitch in multi-coloured embroidery. Handmade stitches adorn the edges. The construction allows free breathing. On the inner side, the mask has a pocket for the user to insert a disposable filter if desired. The mask consists of 6 layers of linen and 4 layers of non-woven material, which makes it very solid. It has passed the “candle” test and will protect the user better than any simple cloth mask, however it should not be considered as medical. Mask has special soft ear hooks, helping to avoid the uncomfortable feeling that can be caused by rubber bands during long wear. Every mask comes in an individual linen envelope. Each envelope is individually matched with the colour palette of the mask inside.
We have used leftovers from our main MySG line of high-quality linen and 160 meters of embroidery thread to craft every item. The construction allows free-breathing and is comfortable to wear. On the inner side, the mask has a pocket for the user to insert a disposable filter if desired. Our Masks have passed the “candle” test and will protect the user better than any simple cloth mask, however it should not be considered as medical. At first, the parts of the mask are getting embroidered in our atelier and then assembled together by our craftsmen in Kyiv. Our embroidery patterns are made by local artists, each motif tells a story and conveys a worldly sentiment, making each item truly unique.
