Bringing together the worlds of art and nature, My Sleeping Gypsy’s first Kids Collection the Tree of Life is now available for kids alongside our main Womenswear line.
The collection for boys and girls is an homage to family values. One of the important universal symbols Tree of Life is depicted in satin stitch multi-colored embroidery on our linen dresses. The Tree of Life symbolizes the connection between generations. It stores the information of the cultural code of mankind and is relevant regardless of fashion trends.
For the collection, My Sleeping Gypsy designers used traditional Richelieu technique and handicrafts such as fabric pleating method Zbiranka, contrasting stitches, lavish hand-embellishment with 24k gold, silver galvanized beads. Artisanal craftsmanship is twisted by modern oversized cuts that allow garments to grow with a child for years to come.
Alongside dresses and blouses, the collection features a unisex shirt that fits girls and boys, Infant Suit for babies that can be complemented with personalized embroidery with the child's initials. A removable collar with floral and heart patterns was created as the collection accessory to highlight any casual outfit.
Colorful and authentic garments from MSG Kids Collection carry the beauty of Slavic traditional clothing, however, I believe it can become an adornment of a child's wardrobe in any country, due to the impeccable craftsmanship it is made with. The collection is made from local natural materials at our atelier in Kyiv.
