How we made it?

This dress is crafted using traditional Ukrainian cross-stitch embroidery and Merezhka technique on the shoulder. Voluminous airy sleeves, 2 triple tassels and handmade Zbiranka adorning the neckline. There is also a belt with 2 triple tassels and 2 triple tassels adorning the neckline. Rich 5 color embroidery.

We have used around 3 meters of high-quality linen and 3 thousand meters of embroidery thread to craft this garment. At first, the parts of the dress are getting embroidered and then assembled together by our craftsmen in Kiev. Our embroidery patterns are made by local artists, each motif tells a story and conveys a worldly sentiment, making each garment truly unique. In Ukrainian culture, Vyshyvanka has always had a significant spiritual meaning and each dress was passed on from mother to daughter. It is traditionally believed to ward off evil and keep the wearer safe from harm.
